Kitties In Need of Help

Networker Jessica Fenner does a lot of independent cat and kitten rescue. You may recognize her name from posting on EAN. She is an amazing woman who had rescued, provided care for, and has found homes for many cats and kittens in need in Erie County. We are sharing this particular story for her, as she currently has a group of 5 week old sick kittens, who require medications for their various is...sues. The kittens all have bad upper respiratory infections, a bad case of Coccidia, and ear mites, and severe eye issues, each requiring medications. They are going to require several visits to the vet to get well.
She has a Chipin (link is in the comments) set up in case anyone would like to help her with their care. You can also mail donations to her at: Jessica Fenner 923 W. 51st Street Erie, PA 16509. The kittens are being treated by Animal Kingdom Pet Hospital 2222 East 38th Street and they have set up a 'credit on file' account for this case in the event anyone would like to help by donating there at the pet hospital.

Linda Sceiford Thank you all SO much ! Jessica is my daughter, I'm very proud of her, she has rescued & rehomed at least 70 cats & kittens this summer alone. She also has her own furkids and has trained a dog as a Guide Dog for the blind. Erie is just the best place ever, we don't realize how many communities have no resources for stray/lost animals. The EAN is one of the best things to ever happen here for we animal lovers !!

Jessica Sceiford Fenner -- Thank you so much everyone I have already paid all the bills at Animal Ark, almost 400 dollars on my credit card, the kittens are doing better and I am hoping they won't have to go back, I have taken them there twice. It would be a lot more helpful if donations were made at chipin or checks were sent to me at 923 W. 51st Street, Erie, PA 16509. Thank you

Newborn Kittens

Please send healing thoughts for the 6 kittens (now 2 weeks old), who were found as newborns, abandoned in an Erie city stairwell. Networkers Shirley and Laura, both experienced bottle feeders, had to take the kittens to the vet today, as they stopped eating. They are all on medication now, and as of now 4 of the 6 are improving. The vet said the other two seemed to have 'given up', and the only t...hing they can do is to assist feed them and hope for the best. The two critical kittens are named Bear and Haylee, but all 6 are still in danger. Thank you to Shirley and Laura for your round the clock love, compassion and care, and for doing everything you can to help these kittens who need you. You are amazing women! Thank you, and we are sending you our positive thoughts and support! ♥See More
