Gizmo

 Update! Gizmo is happy and well loved in his new home! You may remember Gizmo, who was found in very bad shape this past summer by networker Vicki. He was dehydrated, malnourished, and needed immediate vet care. He was literally saved by her love and compassion. Once he got well, it was time to look for a home for him. Through EAN, Vicki connected to Heather and Andrew, who went to meet Gizmo and fell in love with his charming personality, and decided to adopt him into their loving home. What a happy ending for Gizmo! ♥

Here is an updated photo of Gizmo, the orange kitty who you may recall was rescued by networker Vicki. Vicki took him immediately to the vet when she found him. He was suffering from malnourishment, dehydration, fleas and parasites. He is now healthy enough to be neutered next week. He is a real sweetheart and is now seeking a loving home. Mikey Spellman's Charity Birthday Bash

It was a great turn out last night for Mikey Spellman's birthday bash! Over 500 pounds of pet food were brought by guests in lieu of gifts. Mikey had an awesome custom cake made by Jayne May, and Mikey was crowned the 'Honorary Mayor of Pets In Need' at his party. 'I thought you would like to see a picture of momma looking happier and feeling better. I have had more response than I ever imagined and I thank everyone. I would like to thank the wonderful doctors I work for starting with Dr. Jewell, Cheropovich, and Gorney for performing the c-section that saved all these lives. Along with my wonderful co-workers who helped with mom or rubbed puppies until they took their first breath and cried. The news said that I delivered them so I wanted to clarify it took a whole group of great people. I have created a link for donations as requested by many but would like to say I am not trying to generate more donations by doing so. I think we are already well on our way to making sure all 9 dogs will be properly vaccinated, nuetered, and microchipped along with being well fed. But if you feel you would like to help it is there and any excess donations will be forwarded to more pets in need or set up in a fund for future cases. I wanted nothing for myself other than knowing these lives were saved that day. Thank you again to all. Words cannot express my gratitude.'

Hes spending his first night alone in his owners house. the neighbors go over and take care of him. he has 2 days ...then he goes to a shelter. He's very sweet and loveable. he's six... housebroken. hes lived with only an elderly woman. i met him he's sweet & shy. i guess she spoiled him a lot.. so spoiledness is good. he's by himself in the house now the neighbor walks down and lets him out. its so sad. let me know today if u want to go see him. the neighbors only giving it a day or 2 she said.
