Update: Remember the newborn kittens who were found abandoned in a stairwell in Erie at the end of October? As you may recall, 6 newborn kittens were found abandoned by their mother and crying for food. Networkers Shirley and Laurie, who are both experienced bottle feeders, took them in under the foster guidance of Orphan Angels. After 2 weeks of round the clock care and bottle feeding, 2 of the k...ittens had stopped eating. The vet said they seemed to have 'given up' and advised assist feeding. Despite a valiant effort, the two kittens did pass away. The remaining 4 are doing great and are now eating on their own. Thank you Shirley and Laurie for your compassion, love and care in helping these kittens who needed you!
