Paula from Little Angels Animal Sanctuary in NY wrote a nice note to the networkers regarding the bunny who was posted as loose on EAN. Thanks to networker Ron for coming to the aid of the bunnies in need!

Update: Networker Ron (who is a rabbit rescue expert) went down to Union City to catch the large domestic rabbit networker Ashlyn reported seeing under the porch of the empty house next door. Ashlyn took a half day off work today to help if needed, and Ron was able to catch the bunny who is safe and on his way to a rabbit rescue in New York. Thank you to Ron and to Ashlyn for helping this bunny in need! :)
Loose domestic rabbit: (Union City) Networker Ashlyn reported a large long haired domestic rabbit living under the porch of the house next door to her in the Union City area. She is afraid he or she may have been dumped, as the house has been empty for a couple of years and they are on the outskirts of town. They are in the process of locating a humane trap to catch him to bring him inside. In the meantime, if anyone is missing a rabbit in this area, please contact EAN and we will put you in touch.
